Privacy Policy

Last updated June 21, 2026
yosemite.camp is part of the Joey Castillo / kASTIL Systems family. This covers the app specifically and sits on top of the master policy at joeycastillo.us/privacy — anything not covered here falls back to that. Short version: minimum collected, never sold, you can remove it.

What we collect when you log in with Discord

We do not receive your Discord password, email, messages, or friend list. We never ask for a password — Discord handles sign-in.

What else we store

On your device (offline)

yosemite.camp is built to work with no signal, on the trail. To do that it caches the app and your last-known data on your own device (local storage + an offline cache). That data stays on your device until you clear it; logging out and clearing your browser data removes it.

Why, and where it lives

We use it only to run the app — identify you, connect you to the right person on a trip, show your sign-ups, and let your group coordinate. Sign-in is brokered through joeycastillo.us; group data is stored in a private Google Firestore datastore over an encrypted connection.

What we never do

Your control

Children

A general-audience family tool, not directed at children under 13. Kids in a family group are added by their own adults, who control that data.
